Clear Fork Press' &MG Imprint was created from editor Callie Lovvorn's love for Middle Grade books. She has been thinking about taking on middle grade projects and then a tragic event in her son's life when he was 12 showed her how much we really need to have these hard discussions with kids.

The & has long been a symbol of continuation and going on even in the face of tough choices.

&MG released it's first book that next year. Callie's son that inspired the imprint is now 19 and thriving.
